LLT Trail Usage and Stewardship

5/11/2020

We are grateful to share our trails, some specials places and our experiences with you.  We have included photos of people who are enjoying a few moments of woodland and waterway respite.  The woodland trails and scenic walking paths are bustling.
Families are sharing meals, chores, puzzles, board games, and conversation in ways they didn’t just one month ago. Historically, shared societal hardship and trauma have helped individuals more clearly identify the things that matter most to them.
Currently, we are planning and acting for our family’s safety and contentment. We are yearning for the companionship of our dear friends and separated loved ones. We are recognizing that the people around us are irreplaceable and truly most important.

Many people are discovering that immersion within the natural land is therapeutic. This does not come as a surprise. Science has been telling us this for years and we have understood it to be true. However, our tendency has been to take it for granted.
What makes this region truly special is to have our lives surrounded by it's natural splendor. It is environmentally valuable, aesthetic, and healthy for our bodies and our minds. The mission of LLT is to preserve this oasis for generations to come.

Our stewardship responsibilities and efforts continue to increase annually and we need your help to share the workload.  There is work to be done that you might enjoy!   Let us know if you'd like to help us in our efforts by volunteering or supporting our mission as you can.
